Food Allergy Safety Measures:
Necessary precautions have been taken to ensure that no cross-contamination with potential allergens can take place on production lines.  On non-dedicated production lines, equipment is thoroughly broken down and cleaned after potential food allergens have been processed, and the first run of any product done after this type of thorough cleaning is not released for public consumption as an extra safeguard.  If cross-contamination is possible, an allergy alert is placed on the packaging.
