Guidelines for Companies
to Submit Articles to the Nu Connexions Nutrition Software News
Thank you for your interest in submitting
an article to this newsletter! Please read the guidelines below,
and complete and submit the form at the bottom of this
page. Steve Kinsley,
RD (the newsletter editor) will contact you with further details.
Guidelines for Submission
-
Any software company or developer that serves
the needs of food and nutrition professionals can submit an article, provided
it is reporting innovations in their software that makes it stand
out from that of their competitors.
-
Articles are to be a maximum length of 1,000
words, and are to be submitted in MS Word format. The editor reserves
the right to divide the article into multiple HTML pages, based on sections
within the article, if the article appears to be too lengthy for timely
page loading.
-
Companies are required to specify minimum
and recommended hardware and operating system requirements for the software
they are reporting. Third-party software that is required for proper
operation of the software (e.g. an external RDBMS) must also be specified.
-
Hyperlinks to the company's web site are permitted
within the article, upon receipt of a one-time fee of $300 USD. These
hyperlinks will result in the opening of a new smaller (but resizable)
browser window - click
here for an example. All articles will be archived
for future reference by visitors of the Nu Connexions site, so hyperlinks
to your site will not be a time-limited promotional opportunity.
(Note: the Nu Connexions site currently receives visits approximately 2000+ unique visitors per month,
over half of whom visit pages pertaining
to professional food and nutrition software.)
