Genesis®
R&D has pushed product development to new levels of ease and accuracy. It
enables you to customize your work and save countless hours of re-entry and hand
calculations. In addition to the nine Nutrition Labeling and Education Act (NLEA)
label formats and a supplement label, a variety of professional reports are
available. View your analysis as a spreadsheet, protein quality report, bar
graph comparison, or single nutrient report.
NLEA
Labeling
Genesis R&D
gives you the necessary tools to design and print custom labels in a variety of
sizes and formats, including the Supplement facts Panel. This built-in
flexibility puts total labeling control in your hands, and simplifies compliance
with government standards...now and in the future. NLEA formats are designed and
ready to go; simply formulate your product nutritionally and print. The program
allows you to enter a complete ingredient statement and print it with your
Nutrition Facts panel. It also gives you many tools to aid in the creation and
modification of your ingredient statement. Upon the July, 2003 U.S. NLEA
trans fat ruling, support was almost immediately built
into Genesis and the label formats - users can now opt to
display trans fat values on labels, or keep them hidden
until data is available.
Database
Extensive
nutrient research is an important part of ESHA's commitment to quality nutrition
software. Our stringent research protocols will give you more accurate results
and a more comprehensive food selection. ESHA's database work is ongoing as the
explosion of new foods enters the marketplace, and nutrient data is continually
updated
(covering 165
nutrients and nutrient factors, with nutrient data being carefully
integrated from over 1200

manufacturers' data, the Genesis R&D database includes items specific to the
